(More customer reviews)This is a very nicely designed product, but execution on our sample was poor. Beyond the typo in the instructions for our car, the quality of the item is not up to Thule standards. The right lower retaining strap mechanism is very stiff and the range of cable that we can use is limited. We can use it, but the stiff mechanism makes it more difficult to mount than it should be. And it won't be useable for those vehicles that require a shorter or longr amount of cable. Given the condition of the box and the instructions, I suspect that the supplier sent us one that had been returned to them. If we had purchased this in a local store, we would demand an exchange. Given the fact we bought this through mail order, we feel greatly disadvantaged.
