(More customer reviews)This is my first Yakima product. Such a simple design, and so effective! Assembly was a snap, 5-10 minutes. One-page illustrated instructions were easy to follow. All of the components have a quality feel, no cheap hardware, the frame's weight is perfect; doesn't feel cheap, and not too heavy to be a nuisance. I was skeptical of its stability using the tailgate crevice as its anchor, but it is rock solid, doesn't budge at all. No opportunity to scratch paint. I am using it in a dodge full size truck with a corrugated bed-liner and the Beddy Jo works great for my MTBs and road bikes. Its easy to put in and pull out. Just open the tailgate to release, so you can stow it inside the cab while you ride. 5+ stars
