This saddle bag is outstanding. It is a combo messenger/saddle bag. It is roomy, durable and well thought out in it's creation. This bag includes a strong shoulder strap, pockets, bag weather covering and hooks to connect to your bike rack. Everything someone would neeed for a great messenger bag.

Surly Track Cog 1/8 X 14t Silver Review

Surly Track Cog 1/8 X 14t Silver
Average Reviews:

This cog looks extremely nice, but the run-out is visibly off (ie the cog had a visible hop). I chucked in the lathe, and also took a micrometer to it, and yes it is definitely not true. The cog is also thicker than it needs to be and thus is quite heavy. Obviously, I may have got the one cog, or a cog at the limits of the quality spec/tolerance.

Torker Tri Star Rear Basket White Bicycle Review

Torker Tri Star Rear Basket White Bicycle
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I purchased this basket to provide an extra carrying space on the back of my mobility scooter. The baskets available from the scooter companys are very small and this unit gives a larger volume of capacity. I fashioned a rear mount to fit the attachment connector already on the scooter and adding a piece of 1" square tube along with the mounting hardware included with the basket. While it provides limited weight carrying capacity, It is convenient for added space.

Minoura Rear Mount Saddle-Rail Bracket Review

Minoura Rear Mount Saddle-Rail Bracket
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The plate which connects the holder to the seat rails is too short, so it's very easy to knock the whole thing loose even when you think you have it very tight. It would help if the ends could hook around the rails somehow to prevent twisting. Luckily, a friend of mine came up with a new plate design so that it is very secure now. The bracket is very good quality, but they need to redesign the mounting plate for this to work right.

Cycle Force Front Bicycle Basket Review

Cycle Force Front Bicycle Basket
Average Reviews:

I use this to carry some heavy groceries, and I haven't had any troubles yet. The quality is good, and it's very strong and durable. It's a little dorky looking, but gets the job done. It came with absolutely no instructions, and I called the company and they faxed them to me. It was somewhat tricky to attach to my bike, but that's probably more because of my lack of skills.
I'd definitely recommend it, especially if you're going to carry heavy things.

Inertia Cross Town Economy Bicycle Pannier Pair - Black - 12000 Review

Inertia Cross Town Economy Bicycle Pannier Pair - Black - 12000
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Very straight forward, no frills. One big V-shaped compartment with one smaller outside pocket. I ride my bike to work 2-3 times a week, and one of these panniers carries all I need: my shoes (granted, I wear a women's size 7) my clothes and my breakfast. I carry my wallet, keys, etc in the outside pocket. I've not tested it in the rain, but it's very easy to put on and take off and carry into work. I've used both panniers to carry picnic items, lots of room, doesn't get in the way when I pedal. Great product, great price.

SunLite, Traveler 1, 1678 C.I, Saddle Pannier Bag Review

SunLite, Traveler 1, 1678 C.I, Saddle Pannier Bag
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've used these panniers for 3 years and many miles of touring. They are very durable. Absolutely no problems with the zippers or latches. The saddle concept alleviates any attachment concerns and makes them very simple to install and remove. Being all heavy fabric, they function sort of like a stuff sack. You can get a lot in them. For the money, they can't be beat if you don't have to have waterproof and don't need the space of larger individual panniers. These are about 1600 cu in and I've managed fine by using a stuff sack or two on the rack top for my sleeping pad and bag and extra clothes for winter touring. I also use a couple of matching but smaller bags on the front.
The only con is the buggie cord hooks designed to attach to the bottom of the rack. They're flimsy, or were 3 years ago, and didn't last long. No matter as you don't need them anyway. Just cut them off when you get the bags and save yourself the trouble.

Electra Alloy Balloon Townie Fender Set Review

Electra Alloy Balloon Townie Fender Set
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
These are what you are looking for if you have a balloon tire Electra Townie. I have a Townie 9D with Fat Frank 2.35" tires and was uncertain as to proper fenders. These are actuual Electra fenders. My bike is gloss black and the matte finish works very well. Even if gloss black were available I would buy these. The finish appears to be powder coat or some type of annodize? They are light weight and I suppose would dent fairly easy, as alloy does. They are very form fit and close to the tire but cover only the tread portion of those nice looking Schwalbes. Engineering is very good as they bolt right up without a fight and clear everything. No rubs, no rattles. High quality mounting hardware. The only decision is whether black would work for you if your bike is a color other than black. Very elegant look! Pair these up with a Brooks B67 saddle, Brooks roll-down panniers, a traditional brass bell etc., if you want a great looking Euro-style city bike. I am extremely happy with this product.

Yakima Trunk Mount Security Strap Review

Yakima Trunk Mount Security Strap
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Obviously, nothing can stop a determined thief if he is given enought time and opportunity.
But this ingenious device quickly and easily can add additional security to both the bike and the
bike carrier on the back of a vehicle.
By the way, it is made by Yakima but will work with almost ANY bike rack.
It is a flexible "strap" that has a flexible metal band for extra strength and security. The strap
cane be easily and quickly wrapped around the frame of the bike (and even the bike rack if you want)
and then the other end is thrown into the trunk and then the trunk is slammed shut, securing the strap
(and, therefore, the bike and bike rack).
Some might ask "well, can't the strap be cut?" etc. The answer is: "of course it can!" (just like virtually
ANY lock!) but it still provides some protection that just might be enough to protect your bike or bike
rack from theft.

Civia Panniers Review

Civia Panniers
Average Reviews:

I just got this today and had it stuffed full after running errands on my bike. The bag was easy to take on and off while I did my shopping and held a ton of stuff! Even fully loaded, the bag was secure. I read reviews of other pannier bags that have popped off while riding over bumps- scary- but not this bag. It's good looking, light weight, waterproof, easy, and secure. The only bad part is that I only bought one. I will definitely be getting a second.

Timbuk2 Shift Pannier/Messenger: MD; Black Review

Timbuk2 Shift Pannier/Messenger: MD; Black
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This bag is great for those who do a daily commute in an urban setting and don't want to have to carry it on their back. I live in New York City and I enjoy being able to hang this from the bike rack instead of draping it over my shoulder, since I have a fairly hefty Kryptonite chain and U-lock I sling like a bandolier. If anything, I'd prefer it to be slightly larger since I like to keep rain gear on hand just in case. I've purchased the Bullit because of that, but I plan on using this one just as much. It's compact and comfortable. Holds my netbook well. I would have liked more space in the outboard pockets, but they're sufficient to hold small miscellany.

Knog The Boxxer Rackless Bicycle Pannier/Backpack (Black/Brown) Review

Knog The Boxxer Rackless Bicycle Pannier/Backpack (Black/Brown)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've been using mine for nearly ten months, commuting daily with reasonably heavy loads, and I've never had a problem. The backpack straps are strong for when I am not using the bike, and it has never fallen off or come loose while riding. It works great when it is raining, snowing and miserable out, including in subzero temperatures. My bike doesn't have a place to attach a traditional rack, and I've found keeping it as low as possible has helped with clearance issues.

These are great bags. They expand upwards 10 inches and the straps extend to keep the top tight. With cinch straps everywhere, nothing rattles around. Super heavy duty mounting bracket and straps. These babys stay put.
Also, the top covers have a zippered pouch and m.o.l.l.e. type webbing on top.
Perfect !

Topeak HighLite Combo Bicycle Light Set Review

Topeak HighLite Combo Bicycle Light Set
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is a good combo set. A decent back and front light. The red rear light is a little tough to get off the quick release, but provides good rear blinking at a close to 180 degree range.
The front light has two settings solid on and blinkey on and off. The mounting mechanism is great and easily mounts on almost any size front handle bars. The actual light is very small yet highly visible. The downside will be when you have to replace the batteries, they're not standard AA or AAA. However, I expect they'll last for a really long time despite their small size.
The front light I got in the mail did not work! It would only intermediately turn on. However, I RMAed the product through Topeaks website and they sent me a replacement very quickly with minimal annoying pointless questions. I simply sent the bad unit back to them when I got the replacement. I recommend this product.

TerraTrike Rover 8 Recumbent Trike Review

TerraTrike Rover 8 Recumbent Trike
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
First of all, I have been riding 2 wheeled Recumbent bikes for about 13 years, and ride about 100+ miles a week, even though I am a very senior citizen.
My Rover was due to be trucked to my home tomorrow, but I couldn't wait so I drive to the trucking Depot at Atlanta Airport to pick it up. I drove up in my Toyota Matrix, and I had already checked the box dimensions that UtahTrike packed it in, so I knew it would stick out the back of my car about a foot, but otherwise it fit well. We loaded it my car, strapped the back deck down and off I went. When I got home, I had it out of the box in about 5 minutes. It was totally assembled and packed very well. About the seat, I love the higher seat position. I had toyed with the idea of getting another model of Trike, with a much lower seat, and am I glad I got the Rover instead. It is so easy to get in and out of, and you don't feel like you have to dive bomb yourself into the seat and crawl out of it. I played with the seat position, and found that the easiest way to do it, if you have to move it any distance , is to just pull the seat up and off and relocate it. It doesn't want to slide very easily.
Two things I have to get used to, leaning into the turns, and stopping pedaling when shifting. The neat thing, after using derailleur for years, is to pull up to a stop in a high gear, and downshift while you are sitting there waiting for the light to change. I tried some fairly sharp turns, and the Rover seems pretty stable. I noticed that if you really jam on the brakes hard, the back wheel will lift, because the disk brakes can really grab, so modulating the brakes, and practice emergency braking and also sharp turning while leaning, is probably a good thing to do if this is your first trike. I did some of the hills that I normally do in the park next to my home, and the low gear on the 8 speed was fine. The shifting is very smooth, and so far, I am very happy with the Sturmey Archer 8 speed hub. I would like to get the adjustment procedure for it, if I have to remove the rear wheel to fix a flat.
The Rover seems like a lot of fun so far, it fits inside my Toyota Matrix with nothing to do but fold down the passenger front seat and lower the seat backrest on the Rover. It also looks like it would go on my Saris 2 bike mount, but it is so easy to put it inside the Matrix, that , I will probably not bother with the rack. I do have to carry it in my front door sideways, as it is just a bit too wide to roll through the door.
Riding this on my local 9 mile bike path has attracted a great deal of attention, and people are always asking me if they can sit in the seat to see how comfortable it is. It is almost as fast as my 2 wheel Rans Tailwind bike which I have had for years, and much more stable. You can ride along, and take time to look around, instead of having to focus on the pavement ahead of you. Once you ride a Trike, you will be hooked.
As of December, of 2010 I have almost 1700 miles on the Rover with zero problems.....
