(More customer reviews)I bought two of this item in order to move my restored 100 point classic car around my garage. Being a 1941 Cadillac coupe, the tires are only 4.9" wide, easily within the 12" width requirement in the description. My dissatisfaction is in three areas - suitability for purpose (not), product quality, and vendor response (no refund on shipping). Suitabilty for purpose - The description doesn't specify the tire size (ie front to back) measurement, saying instead they will fit "any car". Mine are 7 x5.0, nothing exceptionally big, about 29.5". Still despite the description they would not fit my car. (They probably wouldn't fit my 10 year old standard 3/4 ton Ford with stock tires either for that matter). Product quality - The products themselves were not real well made - initially one even leaked about half a pint of hydraulic oil through the pressure reducing valve. I tightened it and refilled it at my own trouble and minor expense. Once I got them working, the jacks required a lot of foot pumping to raise another vehicle they actually would fit. So I negotiated with the vendor and received permission to return them, for which they promised to refund all my money. Vendor response - The purchase price was refunded but the return shipping was not. If this was a minor amount I would just move on with life and forget about it, but it's $140 as they are very heavy. Several attempts made to reason with them but they see no problem with my being out that much money and having nothing to show for it because "it's on their website". I suggest buying something with a mechanical ratchet action as opposed to the hydraulic version, and I certainly urge you not to buy from T-Motorsports.
