(More customer reviews)Tubus produces such excellent bike racks! This is a recent purchase of mine to get my touring bicycle up to snuff for my 2nd bike tour. I found that just using only the rear rack - didn't balance out the load the way I really like - so this front rack has been installed.
The Tara is rated for a total of 40 lbs of gear - which is about as much as you would want out front - 20 lbs on each side. The eye-holes in the Tara give you a great deal of flexibility, and it has a solid rigid feel.
You won't be unhappy with this front rack - I promise!
