(More customer reviews)Basket couldn't be easier to put on and take off of a standard rear rack. Nice looking; very serviceable handle; capacity about that of a standard paper grocery sack. Sturdy. Rack hooks are simply formed into the wirework of the basket -- commendable simplicity. The spacing, in consequence, is not adjustable ... but it fits virtually all my bikes nonetheless. Deep enough to have good capacity, but that makes it possible for it to interfere with the derailleur on small-wheeled bikes (like some folders and tadpole trikes)...for them, it still works well on the left side. I was pleasantly surprised that it also fit the seat support of a Greenspeed Anura delta trike. As a plus, the hooks will also fit most shopping carts, so it's easy to bring along inside the store. It doesn't have a bottom fastener or bumper, so it does swing out a bit in a turn; I haven't found this a problem so far, but might place some plastic tubing where it contacts the rack (to protect the finish).
It doesn't have any padding or rain protection; it won't substitute for a Velo-Case or a touring pannier. But for its intended use as a market basket, it's very good, indeed. I'm well enough satisfied that I'm tempted to buy a couple more!
