(More customer reviews)Although sold as specific to VW Jetta I don't think they are, I think they're just generic roof rack crossbars. Never bought a roof rack before so I'm not basing this on experience. That said, with a little bit of trial and error and finagling I was able to install them OK on our 09 Sportswagen and they look nice. The locking mechanism is really cheap -- I already broke the plastic part that the latch locks onto just in manipulating one of the brackets. So consider the locks more of a cosmetic deterrent than actual anti-theft security.
