It is from "fake leather" as I was expecting, but it did a great look to my wife's vintage bike. For those complaining about the size, it is a "perfect" size for a saddlebag. I was able to put inside a spare tube, tools, and it also can fit keys and other small stuff. And the best, I don't need to worry when parking in the street, since it doesn't costs $100 as brooks (I am not discussing if worth).
Please, don't expect a bag for your personal belongings, as wallet, etc. it is a tool saddle bag, and works fine!!
