(More customer reviews)While biking from Bruges to Amsterdam we (Pacific NW riders) were blown away by the design of the panniers used there. Maybe if you ride in a 'dry' climate these would not be so useful. I missed my opportunity to buy a set @ a street fair in Amsterdam & then couldn't find any I liked @ the bike shops I looked at. I also did not think about writing down the brand name so I could shop for some when I got home. But @ my local bike store I managed to find a set w/the brand name so I could do an internet search. These are the BEST (!) if you ride where it rains. Normally panniers come with a rain cover but that means you either have to put them on to begin with or stop & put them on if it starts to rain. That means you cannot access anything in your panniers w/o taking the cover completely off. Altho these bags are somewhat heavy the features offset that by the convenience. I might add my friend bought a set she didn't really like as well as these in Amsterdam thinking she would not be able to get a set here in the U.S. Also, they are almost bomb proof! You're paying for quality...but you're getting it! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
