(More customer reviews)There is a serious design flaw in the top clip mechanism that holds the basket together when folded up. The whole basket frame is held together in the folded position with a single shaped metal clip on the top. However it relies on brute force to squeeze all the pieces together to make enough space for this top piece of metal to move and clip or unclip, depending on whether you are folding or unfolding the basket. I am a gal and I have nowhere near the strength that this task requires so if I want to use (unfold) the basket when I am out on the the road I have to have TWO SCREWDRIVERS with me so that I can lever it all apart. Needless to say the area around the clip is scratched and bent. The closing mechanism does need to be firm however the current basket needs to be redesigned to allow for normal people (with no superhuman strength) to be able to use the thing. I would not buy this basket again.
