(More customer reviews)Took these bags on a month long bicycle tour. They are definitely waterproof. They attach and de-attach easily. Good sturdy straps and clips. I appreciate the reflecting strips as well. The only negative thing I have to say about them is that the waterproof sheet that covers the bags is easily torn. I bumped into a curb and two little pieces were torn off.
