I was going through wicker baskets annually. I knew I needed a sturdier basket, but wanted a beautiful one too, then I found this basket. This looks great on my cruiser and I get compliments on it all the time. It's a great size and very strong. I'm so happy I found it!

I believe this was a great purchase. I had looked in all my local stores for a bike basket and could not find one, so I was very pleased to find this on amazon. On a recent trip to a larger city however I did find a bike basket at Wal-Mart. It was the exact same price as this one and same quality, so I know I made a good purchase. I put this on my bike as soon as it came in and it looks great. Now I ride my bike to check our mail and have somewhere to put the mail! Great product!

These panniers are the best I have seen. They are exceptionally well constructed, easy to attach, and cute as a bug!
A great value for the money, and very sturdy. I had read good reviews on Basil products, and now I know why. I highly reccommend.

Sunlite Bicycle Welded Rear Rack for 27" Bicycles/700C, (Black) Review

Sunlite Bicycle Welded Rear Rack for 27 Bicycles/700C, (Black)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I ordered two of these at the same time. They are quite different in their dimensions (okay, several millimeters, but that is annoying and an indication of their QC) and not worth ordering for a mountain/comfort bike. I have mounted several Blackburns without problems, but these are too narrow and distorted for comfortable work. Both are going back, and an extra ten bucks or so will get me what I need. They were purchased for my kids' bikes, so I thought I'd drop my standards a bit... I am sheepishly regretting my haste and the time wasted thereby. Look elsewhere...

CycleOps Fluid 2 Indoor Bicycle Trainer Review

CycleOps Fluid 2 Indoor Bicycle Trainer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
It's silent except for the sound of your tire rolling over it, and completely stable. There's really no need to buy the next more expensive one. I haven't felt the need for a mat. And the resistance truly is road like except without the bumps and traffic lights. It's a constant effort though, so you will get more of a work out in 45 minutes on the trainer than you would in double that time riding on the road.
You will want to accessorize however for a few reasons:
First of all, riding a trainer is the most boring thing ever. At the very least you will want to be listening to music, and ideally you will want to set up a TV to watch while you're putting in your time getting nowhere fast.
If you don't have water bottles and cages on your bike, this is the time to get them, and also a good way to practice drinking from them while riding.
You will sweat buckets, and don't want to soak your bike and the floor with it because sweat is highly corrosive in addition to being stinky, so in addition to the roughly $300 you will pay for this trainer you might as well spring for the the "Bike Thong" which Amazon also sells (with Free Super Saver Shipping) for about $22 (cheaper than CycleOps sells it for, and they don't give you free shipping). The bike thong will protect your bike from all that corrosive sweat and it comes with a handy pocket organizer to hold your TV remote control, iPod, Clif Bars or whatever you might want handy. Trust me, attempting to cover your bike with a towel wont work nearly as well either for the bike or you as you try to keep it in place.
You should also get a fan to blow air on you as you ride your trainer.
As for a climbing block to raise your front wheel for another twenty-something dollars, I've been using an old sandle and that has worked just fine. The first few times riding with the sandle under the front wheel I keep turning involuntarily, but got used to it. Honestly, I feel the climbing block is a waste of money, and that for the price of the trainer it should have been included.
This trainer does come with a DVD, but I haven't watched it yet because I don't imagine the most beneficial and boring task of riding a trainer every day is going to be made more beneficial or interesting by having someone tell me what to do. Instead, I recommend a DVD of Breaking Away or Top Gun--so you feel like you're flying.
Last point: if you're really into cycling rather than simply doing this as exercise, the bike trainer will help your technique. Any amount of wiggling around, or most any bad cycling habit, it soon eliminated after being amplified by your time on the trainer. You will also hear your bike better, and notice all those squeeks and strange clicks that you couldn't hear while riding for real (personally I feel a bike should purr).
Love it. Highly recommend it.

The CycleOps Fluid 2 Trainer is a great way to keep your legs in tip-top condition during the off season. While many cyclists dread the indoor training season, ensuring proper bike set up will make any workout more comfortable and enjoyable.
This trainer features a new larger flywheel with twice the inertia for an improved, road-like feel. The power-band technology offers the widest resistance range--from easy spins to lung-burning climbs--without ever touching the unit. The infinite resistance curve ensures increased wattage as you increase speed for realistic statistical analysis at the end of your ride. The Fluid 2 is surprisingly quiet, and the self-cooling mechanisms--including a patented fan design--keep the unit performing better, longer. Includes a training DVD to help keep you motivated during your indoor exercise.

Serfas Seat Stay Taillight Review

Serfas Seat Stay Taillight
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Bought this light a couple of months ago. I was really excited to find one that was so bright and was easy to mount on my seat stay. I would give this light all five stars if it was better designed. It worked very well...until the 2032 lithium ion batteries it came with died. I followed the instructions on the package and could not get the battery compartment opened. I ended up stripping out the screwdriver slot without ever even budging the cap. I will buy another one; but before leaving the store I will have the clerk show me how to change the batteries just to make sure it can be done. It looks like the slot is just too wide...a design flaw. One would need the largest screwdriver head known to mankind to get that cap off.

Sparehand Double Bike Storage Rack Review

Sparehand Double Bike Storage Rack
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The rack isn't exactly rock-solid. The way it's held together with 8 bolts, it wobbles when you grasp the vertical bars and wiggle them in opposite directions. The sloppy welds at the base of the vertical bars are barely covered up by the paint.
However, although the arms for holding the bikes are plastic, they're actually clever and do their job surprisingly well. With careful positioning, I'm able to hang 4 full-sized bikes on it, and it works. It would be nice if some velcro ties or bungie cords were included with the rack to keep front wheels from flopping over to one side. I'll probably also add some pipe insulation as cushioning to keep crank arms from making contact with the rack.

Axiom Journey DLX Low Rider Front Rack Black Review

Axiom Journey DLX Low Rider Front Rack Black
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
As it turned out, this rack wasn't designed for my bike, but with some minor adjustments and modifications it works as advertised. Both racks attach nicely on the fork with a U-bolt. I attached the lower part of the left pannier rack into a pre-drilled hole that was designed for a disc brake. The rack was solidly attached and looked fine. The right side did not have a pre-drilled hole so I attached the lower part of the rack to the axel. The right rack was also solid but not straight. Both racks accomodated the panniers without a problem and the bike handled well. When I took the bike in for a tune up, I asked the mechanic about the installation of the right pannier. He's the one who told me that the rack wasn't designed for my bike, the left pre-drilled hole was for a disc brake, and the attachment to the axel was less than completely safe. He said he would see what he could do after the tune up. When I picked up the bike I found that the lower part of the right rack was no longer attached to the axel and only held in place by a nylon strap. The rack is now straight and still solidly attached to the bike. Although I would have preferred a rack that was designed for my bike this one works just fine and I am happy with it.

Sunlite Seat Post Clamp with Braze Ons (for bikes without attachment points) Review

Sunlite Seat Post Clamp with Braze Ons (for bikes without attachment points)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I picked up this item to fit a rack to my 2008 Gary Fisher Wahoo Disc mountain bike. The 31.8mm sized clamp worked perfectly. The clamp appears to be well made. It seems like a cast aluminum part that was then machined, drilled, and tapped.
I picked this over other similar items because the rack eyelets were in the back, as was the binder clamp. On most bikes I've seen, the seat tube is split on the back to allow compression. Other designs have the binder bolt on the front or 180 from the seat tube cut. That just didn't make sense to me, though it probably works perfectly as well.
The only caveat, is that "maybe" the binder bolt will get blocked by a rack arm. That entirely depends on your bike and the rack you pick however. In that case, the other seatpost rack clamp gizmo will work for you.
I'm not sure how durable this is, but so far it's doing great. Updates to follow if it falls apart. Check the pictures too.

Saris T-RAX Pro Folding 4 Bike Hitch Mount Rack (1.25-Inch Recevier) Review

Saris T-RAX Pro Folding 4 Bike Hitch Mount Rack (1.25-Inch Recevier)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have a 2010 Taurus and I wanted a way to carry our bikes on trips without having to strap on a bike carrier to the trunk. I likes the Saris T-Rax Pro because I was able to get a small hitch for the car. The T-Rax is easy to assemble and once you get your bikes on the first time, its not difficult to reload for the next trip. I like the fact that rack is locked to the car via a hitch lock and also that the bikes are locked to the rack by a cable lock. This is a great bike rack. For someone like me who has never carried bikes, it a little scary to think that this little rack can hold 4 bikes securely and be going 70+ mph down the expressway. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a bike rack for their car. The rack even comes with an adapter to use with a larger, 2inch, trailer hitch.

Pack up the whole family's bikes or up to four bikes for your passengers and friends with the T-RAX Pro folding hitch mount bike rack from Saris. Like the T-RAX Sport system, this bike rack is made with a lightweight but robust 2-1/2-inch platinum-steel frame, a 1-1/4-inch receiver hitch mount that is designed to accommodate up to four bikes of almost any size at 35 pounds max each.
The deluxe soft rubber hold-downs and pivoting anti-sways keep the rack from making direct contact with the bike frame, and makes it extremely adjustable so you can eliminate wobble and pitch that can damage both of your vehicles. The HitchTite base connects easily to your hitch receiver, and allows the rack to be tilted for easy rear door access. The ratcheting carrier arms with QuickTite knobs secure your bike in one smooth motion, and make it possible to fold them out of your way when they're not in use. Add in an integrated bike lock and a locking hitch pin and you can safely and securely transport your bikes.

Average Reviews:

Overall, I'm very satisfied with the product. It holds bikes safely and securely. A couple of minor drawbacks: the rack sticks out quite a bit from the receiver, and it takes a while to unscrew the top plate which holds the bikes on the rack--there are three handles which have to be unscrewed about 2", unlike some others where each cradle has its own fastener. I would definitely buy this product again, though.

These are by far the best value out there on front panniers. There are better but at three to four times the cost! I will stick with these as they are a lifetime product.I bought these for a cross contry tour and do they have room to spare.I am a single legged cyclist and need to carry more than the avarage person. With these on the front and the bigger Champlains on the rear I had plenty room. They are dependable never came loose or gave me any problems. With all the space in these I was able to put my things in color coded stuff sacks. I took out only what I needed each night.Which was a god send as I didn't have to go through everything to get at some thing at the bottom.I would recomend these to anyone looking for a great Pannier at any price.

Schwinn Network 7 Men's Hybrid Bike (700C Wheels) Review

Schwinn Network 7 Men's Hybrid Bike (700C Wheels)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is a great hybrid bike. It's light and fast like a good road bike, and has great tires and gears for rougher terrain. It is a very dark green( the photo makes it look black). It was very easy to assemble, though Schwinn left out the quick release mech for the front tire. They did send it to me quickly though, once I called them up.
I had been riding mountain bikes all my life, so this hybrid was a change for me, and I 'm glad to say that I prefer the hybrid, it's much better for getting around in city areas. There are shocks in the fork and seat that make for a very comfortable ride. The slim body and tires make fast speeds possible without much effort. The rear rack is great for carrying books and bags, if you attach a sack or net. The handle grips are very comfortable, smooth with just enough grip, not too textured like some other bikes.
I use it to commute to work and on bike trails near a local river, where the nicely gripped tires come in handy.
Some useful additions I purchased were a Schwinn thrasher helmet; does the job and looks good for only $25, a bell xenon light set; very bright and gives a lot of light for night time riding, a Schwinn frame pump; great for inflating tires on the go and attaches to the frame, and an adjustable bell water cage; it can hold any size beverage.
I would definitely recommend this bike.
I plan to take some photos and upload them soon as there is only one picture so far.

Hollywood Racks HR1200 Sport Rider SE 3-Bike Platform Style Hitch Mount Rack (2-Inch Receiver) Review

Hollywood Racks HR1200 Sport Rider SE 3-Bike Platform Style Hitch Mount Rack (2-Inch Receiver)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I am very pleased with this rack. It was easy to assemble and since it works mainly by pulling pins (for adjustments), pretty much anyone can use it. Figure about five minutes for on/off. The stabilizer hitch pin prevents any swaying and the entire rack (and bikes) simply stay put. Nobody likes to see wobbling in their rear view mirror! The construction seems very solid and my only minor gripe is that the cables holding the pins could be a thicker. Also, it is a bit tedious moving all the pins around for each bike bracket when setting up/tearing down. I think they could have combined certain pins in a more efficant manner. The piece is somewhat bulky, so expect to have help if you are not comfortable lifting heavy objects. You are most likely going to leave this rack in place as I have found unplugging/plugging from hitch, moving the pins and straps around gets tiring after a few on/offs.

Designed to fold flat against the back of a vehicle when not in use, this heavy-duty platform-style rack mounts on a 2-inch hitch and holds three bicycles. The rack uses padded universal top clamps and adjustable wheel holders. Bikes need simply to be dropped into the wheel holders and clamps slid down onto the frames. Velcro wheel straps add security. To prevent rack sway, the hitch system is "no-wobble/no-tools" and includes a locking pin and 9-foot security cable. The rack carries a limited warranty against defects.
