My wife and I have about 20 bikes. It seems like a lot, but there are so many kinds of bikes, aren't there? Road, TT, Cruiser, mountain, recumbant etc. We hav tried several different ways to keep all these bikes in the garage and get them to co-exist with two cars and two motorcycles. This Saris cycle glide works pretty well, and keeps several bikes above head level, if you're under 6'2" anyway. It is a challenge to invert a 28 pound mountain bike and lift it onto the hooks, but not that difficult. The under 20 pound road bikes go up easily though. The bikes slide from one end of the rack to the other, allowing you to move them away from the one you're trying to hang up, or remove from the rack. That extra room makes it a lot easier to manipulate a bike on or off the rack.
My ONLY complaint is that they chose not to lock the wheel hooks in the orientation that in perpendicular to the bike's long axis. Those hooks can rotate freely and if you bump one with the tire when mounting it can rotate away, making it impossible to hang the bike until you use a broom handle to re-align the hook. I'll probably end up using some silicone adhesive to align those hooks and keep them from rotating. Other than that, the system works very well, and I may get another soon. I'll need some space to mount a few more bikes eventually.
