(More customer reviews)I absolutely love this bike. I weigh 250 pounds and was worried this bike might not be sturdy enough for me. Nevertheless.. it's a very durable bike with quality parts. The only thing I plan on upgrading, are the pedals.. (smaller and mostly plastic) and inner tubes.. (Got a flat the second time I rode it) This bicycle turns heads, and looks just like it rolled out of 1955. The Schwinn Legacy has made me an avid bike rider again just like I was 25 years ago.
The packaging however, left something to be desired. You could actually see into the box when I got it, and the UPS man asked if I'd like to refuse the bike because it was packaged so poorly. I opted not to return it, as this was the second bike I had ordered (The first was damaged before it got to me and was sent back to the seller).
Upon inspection, the forks, and frame were scratched in several places, and the very top bar of frame was dented. This is the bike of my dreams, and is a steal at 119.00.. but be aware you're most likely going to get a bike that's full of dings and or scratches if you order it by mail. If you can do it, buy it from the store already assembled. I was going to do this, but this model/color no longer seems to be available in retail stores anywhere. Schwinn Windwood Men's Cruiser Bike (26-Inch Wheels) Review

(More customer reviews)I wanted a cruiser type bike for riding comfort and for exercise. I liked this bike for its looks, it matches my wife's bike and it looks a lot like the first bike I had many years ago and I wanted a bike without gears or hand brakes. This bike meets those requirements.
Like the other reviews stated, I was disappointed in the condition of the bike when it arrived. The front fender had a large dent, the luggage rack was bent, the paint had several chips and scratches. I found the front fender poorly designed and lacking the necessary hardware to attach it. It either scrubs on the tire or hits the frame when turning the wheel.
I like riding it but would not buy it again because of the issues with the front fender not fitting properly.

Schwinn Network 7 Women's Hybrid Bike (700C Wheels) Review

(More customer reviews)I ordered this bike after trying for about 3 weeks to get Amazon to ship me the Schwinn Discovery. I'm happy to say that it is a good bike, even though it wasn't what I originally wanted. It is a bit heavy, but not so much that it's difficult to get up and down the stairs of my apartment. It provides a smooth ride even over bumps. I'm used to riding mountain bikes so it took a bit of getting used to, but now I'm in love. Also the bike is a bit large, I'm just under 5'5 and it's very nearly too big for me(I have to drop the seat all the way down) so if you're a shorter woman this may not be your cycle of choice. I'm also a big fan of the fact that the rear rack matches the bike so it doesn't look like an after thought. It also makes the bike great for a commuter.I would have given a full five stars, but when I received and assembled my bike the wheels were not true and there were some issues with the gearing. I had to take it to my local sporting goods store to have it adjusted because those things were beyond my skill set. Now if I can find a good set of panniers or a basket to mount on the back rack I'm all set.

(More customer reviews)I really like this bike. My friends have compared it to riding an arm chair it's so comfortable. Here is everything that is wrong or has gone wrong with it:
-two of the bolts to attach the seat were missing. $5 to replace
-a tube went flat immediately. $5 to replace
-the rear derailleur up and broke. $35 to replace
Despite this, it was still worth the money and when the bike is working, I like it a lot. A lot of strangers admire it.

(More customer reviews)I first set eyes on this bike thinking that it was going to be like a dark red, burgandy color. However, after doing research I knew that it was going to be a purple color. I still bought it. I did not buy it on Amazon because I found the same bike for sale at Target.com. If you are not sure about this bike but want to try it out, I recommend buying it online at Target because if you dont like it, you can always return it. When the bicycle arrived, it was able to assemble it (by myself in 2 days). I had a bit of difficulty with the seat and in the end it squeaks a bit. I'm still satisfied with my purchase. The basket is a bit small however, and the cup holder is "cute". Im glad I purchased it.
Once again, I recommend buying this product on Target's web site simply for the ease of returning it if your not happy with it.
