(More customer reviews)First time I used this strap it broke. I just headed out the door, put my lunch on my bike rack, adjusted the strap to be nice and secure and was headed to work (about an 8 mile ride) when about half a mile in to my ride I heard my lunch fall then suddenly my handle bars went ape s**t. I grabbed on tight and quickly tried to back pedal (because that how my break works) and saw my chain hand been unhooked. As I stop myself with my shoes (took a bit)I got on the side walk and saw the strap somehow un-clipped and got tangled in my rear hub ripping my cassette off my single speed road bike. Not only was it completely done for, as I unhooked the other end that was still on the rack. So much tension had been created that when I barely moved it, it unhooked insanely fast and hit me right in the face(nice....) I was able to temporary fix my bike with my co-workers tools later that day at work (thank you MTA). This is my first attempt at building a bike and it would have been fine, but since I am no master mechanic and it doesn't feel or sound right now, I have to not only get a new rack strap but also save up to get it looked at my local bike shop. If this working class student didn't save up enough building it, thanks to this crappy low quality strap I have something else to take care of. Try a different style if your rack is on the rear, cuz otherwise it can be a more serious disaster.
Basically save your money.
