(More customer reviews)I purchased a Allen 104S Premium 4 Bike rack and was pleased with the product when in arrived from Greenfish Adventure Sports. The rack was well built and easy to use.
My problem is the buckles that hold the main mounting straps tight on the car are not strong enough. I traveled about 140 miles when I heard a loud crack and looked in my mirror to see the bikes and the rack swaying back and forth. One of the buckles had broke and the other one was bent. I pulled over and tied the mouning straps on to the bike rack and had no other problems. If you purchase one - use the buckles, but also tie the straps fast in case the buckles break.
