(More customer reviews)I bought this item as new from Amazon. The lock portion on the end of the bolt that went through the car's 2 inch receiver binded somewhat and the flimsy key broke off. I had to remove the plastic from the lock to make it work. Now it works fine. I guess it doesn't fit all car receivers perfectly. Not really a design defect with the company. The keys could have been a little thicker like the extra keys that the hardware store made for me. The upper lock works fine and the wire is plenty long enough for 2 bikes. Yakima LockUp Review

(More customer reviews)This Yakima LockUp 10-Foot Cable Lock is the complete lockup system for both the bikes as well as the bike rack itself. It come with two locks one to lock the Yakima hitch pin and the other for the 10 foot cable. To me this should be the only system sold for the Yakima bike rack.
The only complaints that I have is I wish the product descriptions and picture were better. And due to the other Yakima bike rack locks sold, it became very confusing as to what I needed to buy. I also wish the cable was a little thicker.

SportRack A30901LHP Locking Hitch Pin Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this hoping to protect my new SportRack 2EZ Hitch Platform 2 Bike Rack, which I love btw. Well, it doesn't exactly fit so great with my Curt hitch on my prius. First, to get it to work sometimes, I had to file off the plastic on one end so it would fit against the back of my hitch. The other issue, once I filed off some of the plastic to allow it to fit was that it doesn't lock easily. After about 5 min of twisting and turning and pushing it into place from different angles it finally locks. The locking mechanism design seems to be less than stellar. Maybe I'll try a hammer next time. In any case it's been frustrating seeing that I paid $25 or so for this thing and is ridiculously difficult to make it work.
